Web Site Optimization

Web Site Optimization (WSO) doesn't have much to do with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) although it is important to have done if you're planning on doing SEO. Web Site Optimization means that the code for your web site is reviewed, edited, modified, upgraded and improved until there are no errors in the code, particularly the html.  This process is called validation. We use software to validate your site and make sure that those types of errors don't cause your site to look different in different browsers, and don't cause points against your site if a search engine can't read your site because the code is unoptimized.

WSO doesn't have to take all day, but it will need to be done carefully and correctly.  What's it take?  Usually, for a site that's just a few pages, an hour or so.  Do you have an old site that is large and has never been validated?  That can take a bit longer, and if it takes much more than the site should be considered for Upgrades.
